The Doula Network's own Kathleen Hickey is announced as a finalist for the short film competition hosted by Birth Matters Virginia! Kathleen partnered with Fort Wayne's Albright Creative Imageryto not only photo journalize the relationships and journeys of birth but also to develop original song and lyric that portray birth's true emotions.
Guest judges: Ricki Lake and Abby Epstein, acclaimed producers of The Business of Being Born and Sarah Buckley, M.D., international birth expert and author of Gentle Birth, Gentle Mothering will be viewing the finalist entries and rendering a winner by mid-June!
